Sarah Wilson was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She received her Bachelor of Science degree at The University of Arizona, where she dual-majored in Microbiology and Psychology. She also completed an accelerated Masters of Arts degree in experimental psychology to further her expertise in human behavior. Sarah also gained experience as a medical scribe in the emergency department and outpatient setting prior to furthering her education. Later, her passion for patient care lead her to attend school at Touro University where she earned her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies in Henderson, NV. While there, she was the recipient of the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Scholarship, which allowed her the opportunity of working with an underserved patient population upon graduation.
She started out working in internal medicine and gastroenterology prior to transitioning into her favorite field of all, dermatology. Sarah knew she was fascinated by the specialty while in school as she enjoyed learning about skin disease, especially how various chronic illnesses manifest externally.
